On February 27th, world-class contemporary artist, Edgar Plans, unveils two new larger-than-life sculptures, The Dreamer at The Shops at Columbus Circle. Representing youthful optimism and boundless potential, The Dreamer encourages viewers to reflect on the importance of nurturing dreams and aspirations.

 

Featuring an 11.5 foot tall sculpture located at the Main Entrance at Columbus Circle with its 5 foot tall counterpart on the 2nd Floor overlook, don’t miss the opportunity to see these fun and inspirational pieces in person.

 

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Edgar Plans (born 1977 in Madrid) is a Spanish contemporary visual artist. A painter from a very young age, he delivers pure artistic expression in childlike art pieces.

His vivid and raw cartoons glean elements from the works of American icons Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. Currently displayed in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, his artworks are sought after around the world, breaking records in auction houses like Christie’s.
