THE SHOPS AT COLUMBUS CIRCLE

Your safety, and that of our employees, is our highest priority. We have implemented a number of new enhanced measures in accordance with guidance issued by federal, state, and local authorities to ensure the well-being of all who visit The Shops at Columbus Circle.

Working in collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System, we’ve implemented the following safety measures in our common areas to help keep you safe:

ONE-WAY TRAVEL: A one-way travel introduced at every entrance and throughout The Shops at Columbus Circle to minimize visitor contact.
ELEVATORS: All elevators are operating at reduced capacities to maintain social distancing guidelines and will stop on all floors for a contactless ride.

ESCALATORS: three steps in between customers is required.
EXTENSIVE TRAINING: Guest Service Associates will be fully trained on the new protocols to assist you in having a safe visit.

A TOUCHLESS EXPERIENCE

We’ve implemented the following measures in the common areas to reduce surface contact during your visit to The Shops at Columbus Circle:

HAND SANITIZER: Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout The Shops at Columbus Circle.
CURBSIDE PICK-UP: Columbus Circle Curbside Pick-up will continue to offer a convenient contactless shopping and dining experience. A complete list of participating retailers is available here.

RIGOROUS CLEANING

At The Shops at Columbus Circle, we continue to uphold rigorous cleaning procedures to deliver a beautiful, clean environment for you to enjoy, and now we are taking that even further:

ELEVATORS: Our elevators will be operating at reduced capacities to maintain social distancing guidelines and feature Silver Defender antimicrobial film on all buttons.
INCREASED CLEANING: We’re increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing high-touch areas in both back and front of house areas. This will be facilitated by additional staffing across our cleaning team.
CLEANING SOLUTIONS: Use of high-grade disinfectants and treatments throughout.
DEEP CLEANING: Nightly deep cleaning will take place throughout front and back of house areas.
EMPLOYEE WORK AREAS: Continuously clean and sanitize employee work areas in both back and front of house according to CDC guidelines.
RESTROOMS: We will continuously monitor and sanitize restrooms with additional staffing in those areas to disinfect all high-touch areas on a regular basis.
AIR-QUALITY: In all indoor spaces, we use state-of-the-art HVAC technology featuring best-in-class air quality and air filtration.

Our HVAC system includes dual-layer MERV-rated filtration exceeding all governmentally recommended standards. A study conducted by the National Air Filtration Society shows that our primary filtration layer alone, MERV 14, is >= 90-95% effective in removing airborne particles 0.3 – 1.0 microns in diameter (source) and is of a similar effectiveness in filtering the potential presence of aerosolized COVID-19.

In addition to filtration, ventilation (measured by air changes per hour) is critically important in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

To further ensure high performance, our HVAC systems perform 24/7 with increased fresh air intake to continuously change the air at or above CDC standards, and they are continuously monitored and managed via both electronic BMS (Building Management System) as well as our qualified in-house engineering team.

VISITOR RESPONSIBILITY: KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE
