| A Voce, which means “word of mouth” in Italian, has opened its second restaurant in New York City at Time Warner Center. The restaurant’s executive chef, Missy Robbins, oversees the culinary direction and offers Italian classics inspired by the spirit of seasonal and regional simplicity. The combination of innovative and contemporary cuisine, an extensive wine list, attentive service and chic décor showcases the sophisticated establishment in a variety of ways. |

Missy Robbins: Executive Chef
Missy Robbins began her career at a Georgetown restaurant, 1789. She then worked as a sous chef at the Lobster Club with Anne Rosenzweig and studied under Wayne Nish, as well as attendeding Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School (now the Institute of Culinary Education, or ICE). After years of studying the art of cuisine, Robbins was able to develop her cooking technique, which led her to travel to Italy, where she discovered her passion and love for Italian cooking. In 2003, Robbins worked as a chef at a Chicago restaurant, Spiaggia, before joining A Voce's talented team in the fall of 2008, Executive Chef Robbins has received critical acclaim at both A Voce Columbus and A Voce Madison for creating classic Italian specialties with a contemporary twist, highlighting flavorful ingredients and referencing traditions from diverse regions throughout Italy. At the young age of 16, Oliver Flosse began his career as an assistant sommelier. After earning an enology degree in Bordeaux, France, he came to New York City and assisted wine director Jean-Luc Le Dû at the Manhattan restaurant Daniel. Flosse now oversees A Voce’s 800-plus wine collection, which is composed of three divisions: Italian, French, and American wines.
