Krystal Bick, a lifelong West Coast girl transplanted to New York City is the force behind This Time Tomorrow, the discerning girl’s destination for all things style, travel, art and dating in NYC. Bick describes her personal style as timeless with a twist and loves conversation pieces that are a little bit unusual, adding just the right amount of pop to an outfit. Most of all, Bick loves fall shopping, and we were delighted to spend a day with her at The Shops at Columbus Circle, getting her tips on the most exciting new fall fashion trends. Here’s what she loves.

Gem Tones

I always gravitate toward color when fall comes around, and this year I’m really excited about all the emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. They are a flattering color palate on a variety of skin tones. At The Shops at Columbus Circle, you’ll find gem tones everywhere you look. Stuart Weitzman has them in boots and shoes, while Coach has them in many of their bags and accessories.

Ankle Boots

One thing I can’t live without this fall is a great ankle boot that hits a little bit higher than the ankle, more like a mid-calf boot. Stuart Weitzman has really nailed it this season.

Investment Pieces

I’m really looking forward to a few key pieces — namely, an investment coat, especially in a lovely gem tone from Ted Baker London, and ladylike pieces like high-neck blouses with ruffled detailing and a dramatic sleeve that pops out nicely from under a jacket. You can never go wrong with a great investment coat.
