Find These Five Fashion Week Trends at The Shops

With all the amazing looks coming out of Fashion Week, we’re too enticed to wait for fall – which is why we’re psyched to find a slew of the most current textures, colors and makeup looks within the spring lines at stores right now! We’ve rounded up five of our favorite Fashion Week trends at Time Warner Center, to take your style straight from the runway to your closet!

BLACK AND WHITE: The graphic combination showed up in shapes, gradients and patterns at Altuzarra, Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler. The Textured Stitch Sweater Jacket at Armani Exchange (pictured above, left) is lightweight, and the open stitching makes it a perfect layering piece – we’d suggest pairing it on top of Yoana Baraschi’s fun, flirty black and white Optic Dot Dress at montmartre.

BLUE HUES: The bold color was seen at Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg and Victoria Beckham, and it’s virtually everywhere in stores now. Our favorite version at The Shops is C.Wonder‘s Embossed Tote in Electric Blue (pictured above).

WINE-COLORED LIPS: Stained pouts were seen at Zac Posen, Vera Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Marc by Marc Jacobs – our favorite brand, FACE Stockholm, makes two wearable and luxurious versions of the hue: the deep matte Desire (pictured above, left) and the sheen-infused Baroque (pictured above, right).

BLOOD RED: Jason Wu, Vivienne Tam, Thom Browne and Oscar de la Renta all showcased this deep, rich hue, and we adore the various interpretations at montmartre, including: Citizens of Humanity’s Rocket Jean in Red (the leather-like coating takes these skinny jeans to a luxe level) and CC Skye’s gorgeous snake-embossed Messenger Bag in Red.

LEATHER: A prevalent theme on the runways of designers such as Alexander Wang, J. Mendel and Michael Kors, this sleek, sexy look can be layered over various textures and patterns. We’re loving this mixed with another modern trend – head-to-toe black (as seen at Reem Acra to Edun). We’re obsessed with bebe‘s Rikki Waterfall Jacket (pictured above, left) and River Moto Leather Jacket (pictured above, right) – take the look to the next level by pairing them with Armani Exchange‘s Faux Leather Fitted Dress (pictured top of page, right).
